Sweet Parting - I have flu ..be warned

Parting is such sweet sorrow? Could have fooled me – where the heck is the sweetness…
As I say so long to my university days, I slowly wrestle with myself …refusing to accept that things are going to change. The only joy I felt was after the my last paper (see grinning buffoon in pic) but after that premature ejaculation of elation , I slowly realize uprooting was going to be a bitch….uprooting from hallmates , from the honours class and various other acquaintances made throughout my four years . Seriously ..how do you say goodbye to people knowing you’ll never ever see them again . Answer: You comfort each other with ‘Singapore is small, we’ll definitely see each other’ or ‘ Hey, I’ll email you from time to time’ ….words of comfort ,really difficult to bring into reality and fruition . (Mental note – email people worth emailing, for the rest of your life)….ooooh I didn’t start writing this as a cynical grump but lookee here , call me Oscar .
